Physiotherapy
Our goal is to improve the health, fitness, and well-being of our valued community members by using our experience and knowledge to support optimal recovery and restore function. We take your unique goals into careful consideration and build evidence-based treatment plans that are easy to understand and carry out. We ensure that our patients understand their impairment, the benefits of physiotherapy, and ultimately are empowered to return to their activities or sport.
Our treatment approach to help you through your recovery may include:
Manual Therapy
A hands on approach using advanced skill to mobilize joints, soft tissue and neural tissue to decrease your pain and restore mobility and function.
Acupuncture
Small needles are inserted below the dermis to increase blood flow and promote healing at or near the site of injury or impairment.
IMS/Dry Needling
The insertion of needles into shortened muscles with the goal of helping the muscle relax, loosen up and function better.
Electrotherapy
Ultrasound, transcutaneous electrotherapy (TENS), neuro electrostimulation (NMES) and interferential current (IFC) are electrotherapy agents that may be used when appropriate to increase blood flow and neural conduction and decrease swelling.
Exercise Prescription
Specific exercises will help you maintain the benefits of treatment between visits, gain strength and motor coordination.

Understanding the anatomical process that happens is important to feel confident knowing what to avoid, and what to do without additional harm on the road to your recovery.
